  • Can we bring our dog?

    Despite our love for animals and especially dogs, for the sake of guests’ peace and quiet they are forbidden on the campsite.

  • How do we find Pitaya Farm Camping?

    Pitaya Farm Camping is located on the southern Golan Heights, a 10-minute drive from Lake Kinneret. For those coming from the southwest direction (via Zemach Junction), take Highway 92 until Kursi Junction, then turn right (eastward) and drive up the hilly winding road to Moshav Givat Yoav. About 500 meters from Givat Yoav, turn to Mitzpe Ofir (Ofir Observation Point) and immediately left to Pitaya Farm Camping through an olive grove. You can use the Waze link on the campsite. Those coming from the north drive to Yehudiya Junction and turn south to Highway 92, then turn left (eastward) at Kursi Junction and drive toward Givat Yoav until the turn to Mitzpe Ofir.

  • Should I bring a tent from home?

    Pitaya Farm Camping is divided into two different compounds: The private tent compound, in which we provide eight Coleman tents and a mattress for each person. The tent is designed for five people (recommended up to four adults). In the private tent compound up to two tents are provided; thus, each section can accommodate up to 10 people. In the common compound, guests bring their own tents from home. In the common sections, additional mattresses are available for 10 NIS a night.

  • What hiking routes and nature sites are recommended near Pitaya Farm Camping?

    Pitaya Farm Camping is located on the southern Golan Heights, at walking distance from breathtaking observation points toward the Kinneret and just a short drive from waterfalls, springs, streams, and more.   • Is there a synagogue in the area?

    There is a synagogue on the Bnei Yehuda settlement, a five minute drive and on Shabbat a 50 minute walk.

  • Is music allowed?

    In order to preserve the natural environment and enable all guest to enjoy the tranquility the site offers, music is not permitted on the site. However, we promise that the birds will provide a pleasant tune.

  • Is there a place to make a campfire or barbeque?

    The campsite has suitable spots for campfires and barbeques; however, only at the designated spots. We provide poike pots at extra charge.

  • How many people can each tent accommodate?

    The tents on the campsite are Coleman 8 and are intended to accommodate five people. For orders of five adults, we recommend taking an additional tent, since it may be crowded.

  • How and when is payment made?

    When making your order, you are required to provide credit card details in order to ensure your stay. You will be charged upon leaving. Payment can be made by credit card, cash, Paybox or Bit.

  • When are check-in and check-out?

    Check-in is at 16:00, check-out at 12:00. On Shabbat, guests may leave later on after coordinating.
